Hugh Cornwell is one of punk's elder statesmen - he was, afterall, the lead singer of the Stranglers - the avant garde punk group that spanned more genres in one album than most bands manage in an entire career.

The Stranglers and Hugh parted company in 1990.

Don't be expecting the brashness of some of the Stranglers earlier stuff - this is a much more straightforward rock n' roll sort of album.
